Take the opportunity of a lifetime as we invite you to experience exquisite comfort and presentation. Boatel Luxury is a prestigious vessel, complete with sky lounge, lower swim platform, an alfresco BBQ and entertaining area, gourmet kitchen and more.

Discover breathtaking natural beauty and fascinating local histories.The region is often referred to as the Mediterranean in the outback, with its lush green golf courses, citrus groves and vineyards, endless sunshine and sandy river beaches.

Day 1
Board houseboat at 2pm. Once settled in and a “Captain” has been selected we will take you through the boat and show you where everything is, how it works and teach you to drive it. You can then head off and start your journey along the river and tie up before sunset.

The Gol Gol Hotel is one hours drive upstream and provides excellent moorings. Walk up the hill and dine indoors or outdoors alfresco at the Hotel.

Day 2
Located on the opposite side of the river from the Gol Gol Hotel is Riverside Golf Course. After mooring take a short stroll up the bank and you will come across the 11 th fairway. Follow this back towards the Club House & Pro Shop. Moorings are available there or anywhere along the river bank that is clear of trees/snags.

Day 3
Travel from Gol Gol upstream to Trentham Winery, approximately 1 hour. Good moorings available. Trentham Estate Winery offer dine in Restaurant or alfresco on the balcony, enjoy a culinary experience that is fresh, simple and modern with a touch of class, lunches available Tuesday – Sunday with wine tastings available. Wander further upstream or moor along the river and enjoy fishing, waterskiing bushwalking etc.

Day 4-6
Travel up to Psyche Pumps, approximately 30 minutes upstream from Trentham Winery. These pumps were originally built in 1891 by the Chaffey brothers to meet the needs of the local irrigation settlement and is a must visit during your journey on the River Murray. Travelling further upstream another hour is Red Cliffs and an hour further on is Lindeman’s Winery – cheers! Return on the afternoon of Day 6 to Gol Gol Hotel area for your overnight stay.

Day 7
Travel back downstream to the mooring site to disembark by 9.00am.

Day 1

You can then head off and start your journey along the river. From the mooring sites to travel downstream you first need to pass through Lock 11. The last opening of the lock is approximately 4.00pm each day. Once you have passed through the lock travel further down stream & find a suitable mooring site for the night. ** All houseboats are guided through the lock.

Day 2
Travel downstream towards Coomealla, approximately 5 hours sailing from Lock 11. Mooring is available at the Coomealla Golf Club where you can enjoy a round of Golf on the championship golf course. If not a golfer, take a walk and enjoy the wildlife of koala’s, kangaroos, goanna etc. For a meal or a flutter on the pokies visit the Coomealla Service club. A courtesy bus is available to pick up and drop off from the mooring sites.

Day 3
Travel downstream to Wentworth, approximately 2-3 hours. Here you will leave the Murray River and Join the Darling River.

Good moorings available at the services club. Good moorings just prior to the bridge. Wentworth has plenty to offer, from the services club for meals & pokies, to the historic Wentworth jail, local museum and the Perry Sand Hills.

Day 4-6
Wander further upstream exploring the Darling River enjoying the fishing, waterskiing bushwalking etc before returning back to the mouth of the Darling and joining the Murray River. Travel back upstream towards Mildura. Located at Merbein approximately 3 hours from Mildura (or 5 hours upstream from Wentworth) is the Chaffey Lookout. Good moorings available here, simply follow the staircase up the bank.

Return though Lock 11 on the half hour on the afternoon of Day 6. You can either motor upstream and moor at the Gol Gol Hotel and dine there for evening or moor back at the mooring site.

Day 7
Travel back downstream to the mooring site to disembark by 9.00am.

Day 1
Travel into town and moor at Ornamental Lakes – walk into town for a meal or site seeing.
Alternatively, travel upstream to Gol Gol Hotel, moor at their moorings and enjoy a meal in the restaurant or enjoy Alfresco dining.

Day 2
Travel to Trentham Estate Winery. A leisurely 1.5 to 2 hour cruise. Enjoy a restaurant lunch or BBQ lunch, cheese platters and wine tastings. Bookings advisable in busy times. Cruise onto Red Cliffs for your second night.

Day 3
Travel on to Psyche Pumps, a popular tourist attraction. Enjoy the wildlife at Kings Billabong. Travel back to Gol Gol for your third night. Ready for departure at the Marina by 9:00am.

A holiday on the Victorian/New South wales border would not be complete without visiting Oak Valley Estate, Chateau Mildura and Varpodio Estate. Let Mildura Limousines and Discover Mildura take you on a fabulous winery tour and marvel at the breathtaking views whilst dining on quality produce.

With tinnies available to hire for fishing and polycraft, you will find yourself lost in the beauty of the river while hunting for yellow belly, yabbies or the elusive Murray Cod.

kayaking, canoeing, water-skiing & Jet-skiing

Explore the magnificent sandstone cliffs and secluded sandy beaches, and cruise past the river’s famous paddlesteamer wrecks and historic homesteads. Experience the majestic sunsets as you trail through lagoons teaming with wildlife. Guests will need to bring their own waterski’s, Ski Boat and Jet Ski if they wish to participate in these activities.

Renmark

Discover Renmark with a Border and Brewery Tour or visit Wilkadene and enjoy live music with bands.

BIRD-WATCHING

Winding its way through Easter South Australia and surrounded by glorious river red gums, the Murray River is home to some of the most beautiful bird life in Australia. Stop off at Swan Reach or Brookfield Conservation Parks, or The Bookmark Biosphere Reserve.

GOLFING

Discover Coomealla Golf Club and Riverside Golf Club. Coomealla offers a courtesy bus to their Coomealla Club which has live entertainment and dining.  Also visit the beautiful Mildura Golf Course which is accessible by taxi.
